Interview Analysis

I interviewed James and started the interview off by asking him what his major is. He replied that his major is Criminal Justice and that he doesn't know exactly what he wants to do yet, but he knows that he wants to be in the Criminal Justice field. I moved on to ask him what type of jobs the Criminal Justice major had to offer. He replied that there were "many different jobs in the field including law enforcement, the court system, and corrections." I asked James if any of these jobs were federal and he told me that the majority were federal, but some are not. I then asked James if he planned on going straight to work after graduation or if he planned on attending graduate school. James said that he wanted to go straight to work with a possibility of graduate school in the future. I wrapped up the interview by asking James if there will be job offerings in his field after he graduates.James replied that right now times are hard so jobs are limited, but he explained that people are always committing crimes so there will always be work in this field.
