What was gained from the research?

Suicide Among Asian Americans was the subject of the research article that my group and I covered. I gained a better knowledge of suicide among Asian Americans in general because previously I did not know anything about this subject. I gained the knowledge of why there is a high rate of suicide amongst Asian Americans and what can be done to either solve the problem or to improve it. I learned that suicide in this group is a big problem because they are minorities and are subject to a hefty amount of discrimination and racism. I also learned that we can help the situation simply by treating Asian Americans with respect in our everyday lives.
