In class paraphrasing

Students regularly use word for word quotations when skimming resources and this leads to entirely too many quotations in the final drafts of their research papers. Usually, somewhere around one tenth of a finished product paper should contain verbatim quotations as a rule of thumb. You should try to keep the level of word for word note taking to a minimum in order too keep the amount of quotations that you use in your final draft to a minimum.(Lester 1976)
